The Janome FM725 will help you create fabrics which can then be sewn into a finished garment, furnishing or be simply used as a work of art. It has five barbed needles which mesh the fibres to secure two or more pieces of fabric together. Every design you create will be unique .. experiment with colours, fabrics, yarns and a whole host of other creative materials.. a fantastic use of all those scraps of fabric and threads you never want to throw away! A built in needle guard is provided for safety and there is easy access to the lint collection area under the needle plate. It even has a free-arm facility. The accessory kit includes a spare 5 -needle unit, a single needle unit ( plus spare needles ) for finer work and a single hole needle plate for heavier fabrics. And there is an optional interchangeable needle kit available… so now you have all the needle options you’ll ever want ! And don't forget the optional large extension table !!

The Janome FM725 is the first machine that allows you to do needle punch felting. It doesn't require thread, a bobbin, or any previous sewing experience. Instead of one needle, it has 5 needles joined to a single unit, so they move up and down together.
Each needle has tiny barbs on the side, and as the needles piece the top layer of material they catch the individual fibres and push them down into the bottom layer. there's even a free-arm facility. It's so simple, you'll soon be creating one-of-a-kind fabric effects.
