You will need matching thread, 8 x 1.5-2cm/0.75" buttons, 0.45m/0.5 yards of interfacing, 0.6m/0.75 yards of lining, 2.5cm/1" buckle slider.
 
Merchant & Mills suggest using: medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton twill, denim, linen, corduroy, or tweed.
