Service Description
Pattern Drafting Pattern making with Stretch Fabrics An introduction to drafting a pattern from an item of your own clothing. In this lesson you will learn how to draft a pattern from a T- Shirt, and at the end of this session you will have a fully working pattern and instructions on how to make your own. Please bring a T-Shirt/Breton Top (no collars please) You will need your own stretch fabric or a 10% discount on fabric in store. All other equipment is supplied. Refreshments provided. Time: 9:30 - 12:30 - Morning session Lunch 13:30 - 4:30 - Afternoon session Construction - Following Saturday Using your pattern that you drafted from the previous workshop you will now put it into use and construct your T-Shirt. You'll learn the process of dealing with stretch fabrics and how a T-Shirt is constructed using a Sewing Machine and Overlocker.
