Designed for people who haven't sewn or used a sewing machine before & would like to learn the basics.
 
This is an ideal class for people who have never used a sewing machine before & would like to build up their confidence while learning the basics. The first half will be learning how to use a sewing machine while the second half will put what you learnt into practice to make a tote bag.

Different thread types & their use
Tensions
Sewing in a straight & curved line
Sewing seams & hems 
Topstitching 
If time allows, putting in a zip & pocket.
 
All fabric, threads, machine needles etc... will be provided
We also supply our own sewing machines for you to use. 
Please bring a lunch or there is a cafe nearby 
 
Our classes are non refundable. Due our small class sizes it is very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date.
