The Esther Blouse sewing pattern is a delightful top made for woven fabric that exudes femininity.
 
It comes in two versions: one with pleats (A) and another with gathers (B) at the neckline. The back neckline features a button and slit, while the sleeve is gathered or pleated and extends to the cuff. Both the body and sleeves have two length options to choose from.
 
Skill level: 2/4, The Esther blouse is pleated or gathered to the neckline, and the sleeves have cuffs. You can master both techniques with a little bit of practice.
 
These patterns are made in Europe so use a European sizing system, please be careful to check your measurements against the guide to get the best fit. We have found when translating this sizing to UK sizes they range from a 6 to 20.
 
You will need matching thread, fusible interfacing, and buttons.
 
Wardrobe by Me suggest using a light weight woven interfacing like linen, viscose or cotton. We think this looks beautiful in many of our check fabrics too.
